Memory Lane of a Grunt on Vet's Day ???? When I got home from Iraq and was having a dinner at my dad's, he told me a truth that I wasn't ready to hear but was 100% correct. "Don't let your time in combat be the "best" thing you have done with your life. Dont hang it up, kick back and watch your past for the rest of your life. Do something else, even more great." Graduating college with two degrees then starting a Non Profit with the help of my mom and the great people supporting the pow mma program was next. We built a hardcore close brotherhood with the crew and glorious solar sytem of amazing hearts that orbited the program, then watching the positive ripples all that created was my next chapter that I considered more important that the running and gunning time. Now Im in a new career, helping build a new company, keeping people safe, mentoring Veterans along their career paths, and being the best husband and friend i can be is the new chapter. https://lnkd.in/gebJWD2r

Rudy Reyes is a former United States Marine, actor, and conservationist best known for his role as himself in the HBO miniseries Generation Kill, which chronicled the 1st Reconnaissance Battalion during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. His new season of Special Forces Worlds Toughest Test is coming soon so stay tuned in! Born on December 3, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri, Reyes had a challenging upbringing, spending much of his childhood in foster care. He later joined the Marines, where he excelled as a member of the elite Recon unit. After leaving the military, Reyes transitioned to acting and fitness coaching, leveraging his military experience to inspire others. He is a proud supporter of Patriot Empowerment Institute.
