If you’re an active duty service member making the transition back to the private sector, and networking is part of that transition process, one of the wisest choices you can make is to join a board of directors. Not necessarily and an executive role, but simply as a voting member. This will help you build out a network of peers who share your values and sense of purpose. #militarytransition #veteranEmployment

This is a positive development absolutely! #Military families get relocated frequently and the strain for military wives to sustain meaningful #employment is incredibly challenging. It is not the fault of the military spouse that their sponsor PCSed to a new duty station, so if there exists a possibility to maintain remote government employment, then it should be granted.

I’m glad to see the DoD follow through on its commitment to our military spouses! Check out their recent letter clarifying remote work policies. This is a big win for military families!

We Help Corporate and Military Teams Defeat Busyness ? Stop Wasting Precious Time on Email, Meetings & Wasteful Work and Re-Invest time in What Really Matters ? Measurable Impact on the Bottom Line

We set priorities. We make plans. And then… we let the whirlwind of daily demands pull us off course. Gen. Paul E. Funk II (Ret) learned early in his career that what gets measured gets done. From captain to four-star general, he tracked his time against his top five priorities to ensure his focus matched his mission. No wasted hours. No guessing. Just disciplined leadership in action. How do you make sure your time aligns with what truly matters to you? #MilitaryLeadership #TimeManagement #MilitaryVet

  • My dude isn’t wrong even 1%. There will always be those chasing the latest gucci-gear or technological improvements, hoping to find something that can do their job for them. But, at the end of the day, hard skills win out. Being trained & proficient is something you have to master within yourself. Whether you’ve submitted a resume, or need to recruit others, or running an organization, technological processes cannot replace knowledge, abilities, skills, experience (KASE). The question that remains is: How will you make your KASE?

HARD SKILLS WILL ALWAYS TRUMP GEAR In my time in this industry and while working in multiple firearms stores, I've seen abundant examples of people who spend countless dollars on the latest and greatest piece of gear or a CQB course that does nothing to expand their capabilities as prepared individuals. This video is a direct representation of that problem. Should people be allowed to take CQB courses or buy new gear? Of course, it's a free country; if you've got disposable income, send it. But if you can't deliver on the basic fundamentals (marksmanship, target transitions, a repeatable/consistent presentation of your rifle/pistol on a target in an acceptable time, shoot on the move, maintain a level of fitness that will compliment the fundamentals) is that CQB class or new rifle doing anything for you? Mastering the fundamentals is boring. It requires hours of isolating your inefficiencies, and it doesn't look as sexy as flexing your dual tubes, a new $4k 2011, or your new plate carrier on Instagram. That is why most people don't do it. Invest in a reliable rifle, pistol, ammo, and a few accessories to complement those items (optics, holster, belt, shot timer), and get to work. Put in 10-30 minutes of dryfire, research the plethora of free quality instruction all over Youtube and Instagram to learn as much as possible. Ben Stoeger and Matt Pranka have a 2-hour video from a pistol/rifle class on Ben's YouTube, loaded with free information worth its weight in gold for people looking to better themselves. I was also once part of this problem. I would buy a gun, add a ton of accessories to it, and then let it sit in the safe before I moved on to the next. Since then, I have sold everything I didn't need, reinvested that income into ammunition, and prioritized progression with hard skills rather than letting my guns be paperweights that collected dust. If you take the defense of yourself and your loved ones seriously, act accordingly. Don't be that guy/gal that shows up to the range with $10K worth of gear but can't hit water if they fall out of a boat.

BLUF: People who don’t buy your product do not believe in either: The product, the company, or the salesperson. That’s it. No good business or product really succeeds without a strong sales plan and the team behind it. Regardless of how smooth and efficient manufacturing operations are, how cutting-edge your technology is, how solid your financial plans are, or even how you position your brand are conservative or progressive, you must have the right sales team in place, or it is all vanity. Without people, the processes and mechanisms are useless.

  • Strong opportunity for soldiers at Ft Campbell or TNNG & JFHQ-Nashville! Attention E-5/6 and O-1/2, if you are pursuing your #PMP cert, this is a great space to use the planning experience you have in the military. Members of Tennessee Army National Guard will have plenty of experience since every drill weekend Is a project management leadership experience from planning rifles ranges, troop movements, PHA weekend, training exercises, and occupy an AA/TAA or training base requires logistics, food, maintenance, troop mvmts, OPORDS, and more.
