We are proud to announce Pathlight HOME received a $150,000 grant from Cigna Group Foundation to launch “No Buddy Left Behind,” an initiative aimed at reducing veteran homelessness in Central Florida. As part of the initiative, volunteer veterans will seek out unhoused veterans and connect them with support services and housing opportunities. Today, we are joining the Homeless Services Network of Central Florida and agencies nationwide to kick off the annual Point in Time (PIT) Count. This effort allows organizations like ours to collect better data for planning and advocacy to support the unhoused in our communities.

Celebrating National Hobby Day means showing all the wonderful hobbies and activities our residents enjoy at Pathlight! From whipping culinary delights in the Pathlight Kitchen to learning and growing in new career fields, hobbies are aplenty at Pathlight HOME.

Congratulations to our first class of 2025 Culinary Graduates! Pathlight HOME’s Culinary Training Program was created to meet our community’s need for expanded access to economic opportunities and stable jobs. This 12-week program is offered to low-income Central Floridians and unhoused and formerly homeless persons at no cost. Courses include hands-on cooking classes in our Pathlight Kitchen, classroom instruction, field trips, individual coaching, a food handler certification and more.
