This service is one of the largest women's health hubs in the UK, and we are proud to be recognised as the only women's health hub cited in the RCOG’s "Waiting for a Way Forward" report in tackling the long waiting list in gynaecology. We are proud to see Modality Partnership lead the way in providing free period products across their 53 sites. This initiative aligns with Pathfinder's mission to reduce #womenshealth inequalities and promote #access to essential care for all. At our #EqualiseHer roundtable and the #Women’sHealthSummit in June 2024, we addressed the systemic barriers women face in healthcare. Modality Partnership’s action reflects our shared commitment to breaking stigma, promoting equity, and improving wellbeing for women. We look forward to continuing this important work together.

Today, I had the privilege of speaking at the All Parliamentary Party Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health’s inquiry into tackling inequalities in reproductive healthcare. I shared insights from my work at Modality Partnership, where our Women’s Health Hubs care for over 13,000 women annually. These hubs show how integrated, patient-centred services can reduce delays, improve access, and address health inequalities. Key points included the need for holistic care, better collaboration between providers, and policies to standardise and expand access to Women’s Health Hubs. ???Reflections on My Recent Visit to Vietnam: C?n Th? and Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC)????? I had the privilege of visiting Can Tho and HCMC, engaging with exceptional colleagues from the C?n Th? Department of Health (DoH), Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), and Modality's esteemed partner, Hong Anh Healthcare Group. Key Takeaways from the Visit: ???In C?n Th? The DoH has made notable progress in strengthening primary care, with initiatives such as their appointment booking app and expanded primary care stations. Their vision for an integrated care system aligns closely with our expertise at Modality, presenting a significant opportunity to support this transformation through our partnership with Hong Anh. CTUMP, with its Family Medicine faculty established in 2008, is keen to advance its capabilities in?digital health?and?leadership development. Their interest in Modality's International Clinical Fellowship and our frontline at-scale primary care delivery expertise marks a promising step toward strategic collaboration. ???In Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) HCMC's healthcare sector is rapidly evolving, creating numerous opportunities for innovation and investment to meet the needs of its diverse urban population. Our partnership with Hong Anh continues to gain momentum as we work toward establishing Vietnam's first?primary care-led integrated health system.?While much work remains, our shared vision is firmly on track. Tonight was the parliamentary launch of the RCOG Elective Recovery Report following its release this morning. With over 750,000 women on waiting lists for treatment nationally and so many women falling through the gaps and being unable to reach care, it is clearer than ever now is the time to act. It was a privilege to see Modality Partnership’s Birmingham Women’s Health Hub recognised as a standout service in the report. Our WHH model is proof that integrated, patient-centred care can make a real difference, tackling the challenges that so many women face. At Modality, we’ve worked hard to turn these challenges into opportunities for change. We’re proud to lead by example, and we plan to share key data and outcomes from our WHH to inspire others. By showcasing the success of our model, we hope to encourage national adoption and action.
