Path Robotics was founded by brothers Andy and Alex Lonsberry with a desire to help fill workforce gaps in the manufacturing industry. At Path Robotics, we understand manufacturers are constantly being asked to do more with less; more reshoring, more demand, and more requirements with less time, less talent, and less tolerance. We’re helping guide the Fourth Industrial Revolution in manufacturing by providing robotic support to help keep up with those challenges. Our welding robots absorb high-volume, repetitive tasks by leveraging AI and machine learning. By doing this, we’re putting humans in safe, productive environments that allows manufacturers to increase productivity and grow their business.

Our CEO Andrew Lonsberry caught up with The Manufacturing Millennial at FABTECH Expo to chat about the $100,000,000 raise, The new AF-1 robot & some other updates on how we really are enabling robots to build, so humans can create.
The #roboticindustry is evolving and so are the companies who are bringing new solutions to #manufacturing and #automation. Robots on their own are not always the solution. We need to make them better. Last year, I caught up with?Andrew Lonsberry from Path Robotics at?#FabTech2024. To see what new updates they are bringing to the industry. In October 2024,?#PathRobotics?secured $100 million in Series D funding, bringing their total to $284mm in venture capital funding. In January 2025, they received POs for $35mm, their largest order to date. Path specializes in AI-powered autonomous welding systems designed to address labor shortages and improve manufacturing efficiency by leveraging computer vision, machine learning, and real-time adaptive control to enable robotic welding systems that don’t require programming or highly skilled operators.
