Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery that is growing in astounding numbers not only in our community but within our nation and around the world. Hundreds have been rescued in Western New York in the past few years and it is estimated tens of thousands are bought and sold annually in the United States alone. Globally the estimates are in the millions. People are suffering at the hands of oppression and if we do nothing, many will suffer. Children and adults are placed in horrifying circumstances and forced to do unfathomable sexual acts and forced labor. This form of oppression affects all race, gender, age and culture, no one is immune. P.A.T.H. (People Against Trafficking Humans) is a faith based non-profit organization with a mission to end human exploitation through prevention, intervention, awareness, and aftercare. Our vision is a world free from modern human slavery and oppression.
