A few members of the Passport Family had the honor to visit with FSB Alum, Charles Michael Davis in Farmer today. The meeting was so insightful in discovering the similarities between then and now regarding the FSB student journey. There were plenty of laughs and genuine impactful moments. Thank you @charlesdavis.2020 for your time and wisdom. He is now an honorary Passport member. *Currently an actor, director, and photographer Charles Michael Davis is most known to television audiences from his roles on Darren Star’s “Younger,” Shonda Rhimes’ legal drama, “For The People,” “NCIS: New Orleans,” and “The Originals.” After attending Miami University, Davis moved to Los Angeles where he landed recurring roles on ABC Family’s “Switched at Birth,” “The Client List,” and BET’s “The Game.” Davis also had a five-episode arc on “Chicago P.D.” and a seven-episode arc on “Grey’s Anatomy. #passport #fsbalum #greatnessawaits

The Passport, Ryan and Grainger Scholar program represented well at the Junior Achievment “Inspire” event. We might just see a couple of those creative, innovative faces in the program in the future!
What a great day today to inspire and be inspired at the Junior Achievement “Inspire” conference in Columbus with Anne Bonanno and Kirk Bogard. This was a great opportunity to interact and share information about the Miami University FSB Passport, Ryan & Grainger Scholars Program and the John W. Altman Institute for Entrepreneurship to 2,000 Columbus area junior and senior high school students. A special thanks goes to Jim Friedman, Ph.D., Cr.D. and Bethany Schwan for the tabling presentation guidance which was a huge hit. Talk to those two entrepreneurial masterminds about what our team did with the legos… We are already looking forward to next year!

Ending the week on a high note reflecting of wonderful student interactions! The "All Passport" dinner and Think Tank event with presenter Lisa Kuhn was a success where passport students learned to further their personal branding practices for career opportunities. Dinner in the student services suite was a great opportunity to connect, unwind, share ideas, and who doesn't love the chicken and texas toast from Canes restaurant!
