?? Completed Williston Municipal Airport Terminal! ?? Williston celebrated the opening of this stunning new terminal with a ribbon-cutting ceremony! Designed by Passero’s Southeast Aviation team, led by Justin Vollenweider, this project included everything from project programming to construction oversight—made possible with full FAA and FDOT grant funding, at zero construction cost to the city. Angela Witt and Matt Singletary also represented Passero at the Continuing Florida Aviation System Planning Process (CFASPP) meeting, held in the new Williston Municipal Airport terminal. This North Central regional meeting is a great opportunity for us to connect with the aviation clients we support. CFASPP helps update the Florida Aviation System Plan, keeping it aligned with our ever-evolving aviation landscape. The 15th Annual design-build competition, Can-struction, is live at The Strong National Museum of Play in Rochester, NY! Twelve local teams have transformed thousands of cans into jaw-dropping, Halloween-themed sculptures for this year’s "PumpCans, Witches, and Ghostly Goods" challenge. ???? These amazing creations will help support local families through Foodlink, NY, with over 370,000 pounds of food donated since 2006! Operation Can-D-Corn: More than just a sweet treat, our Can-struction masterpiece is a symbol of hope and community. As the iconic candy corn takes flight, it reveals its heroic side, soaring above hunger and landing on the Wicked Witch of food insecurity. ?? Greece Public Library – a New ‘Sense of Place’ "The post-pandemic world rendered a new way of living – virtually. Yes, the world-wide-web has been in place for decades, but also consider that technology and human engagement unified during the onset of Covid-19 in March 2020, which separated people from interacting with each other. The local meeting place for work, school, and play became a computer screen at home. But slowly, society learned that no matter how advanced and innovative humankind can be, nothing can ever completely replace being together in the same space. People still need a central location for their aspirational goals and societal needs, which is why public libraries continue to thrive in delivering that sense of place for information, education, and collaboration."
