Hi everyone-- big news. When we started Frontera we agreed to be only mission focused on access to care and quality/precision in care. ANYONE who wants a license to our technology can have it on reasonable terms. We are an open an collaborative system. As a parent, it annoys me when people jockey for position and play games. The condition of #autism needs attention and no time for crap. The mission is too important. While others play "turf wars", I am unwilling to put profits ahead of technology and access to care. Frontera will stand by our focus on low cost for .org, low income or medicaid and especially rural clients. Further, we will provide tech to anyone even those who are perceived as "competitors". The mission is all that matters. So thank you to Bill White ! We are announcing our first of what we believe will be many integrations, with Passage Health. As an innovator you can have the best stuff but you can't do it alone. We adopted Passage Health in our own clinics a few months ago and thus far the results have been great. We have also completed a full integration of our assessment builder technology and have a plan for more AI driven collaboration. Soon we intend to bring re-assessment and video phenotyping to the platform. We believe Passage is a tremendous ERP for ABA, Speech and OT and that combined with Frontera AI we can re-imagine autism care. No more punching data into ipads and no more old school software. Announcing Frontera and our $32M seed investment from Lux Capital, Lightspeed, Bison Ventures, Inspired Capital and Menlo Ventures.??Our mission is access to care in autism and early childhood conditions. My son was diagnosed when he was 2/3 years old.?10 years later, it is hard to believe he is the same kid- back then he couldn't talk or respond to his name.? Now, I have a thriving 13 year old.?Incredible. I am a specialist- I go deep on things. Many of you know me as an agtech entrepreneur- perhaps the most accomplished in the industry. I love ag and will remain an investor. This is something I had to do. Its an opportunity for transformative impact- and much like ag, I have become an expert and specialist through experience and investment. What is Frontera? Frontera is a deeptech innovation in autism and early childhood conditions that uses Digital Phenotyping, which we do by extracting clinical data at 30 frames per second from video.?This radical change in data collection can be applied beyond autism. We have taken 18 months to announce because it took that long to get to a V0, which is now available.?We have also released AI products focused on assessment and diagnosis. There are 3X as many kids who need intervention relative to those who get it- 5X in rural markets.??We cannot ask clinicians simply to work more hours.? We need innovation. Today, data is collected through basic systems/software that deters from the therapy.?Passive data collection, longitudinal analysis, asynchronous supervision, quality control and faster assessment/diagnosis can mean transformative care. Frontera can reduce waitlists and time to therapy.??Clinicians and parents alike will have a plethora of data and precision to leverage their time. We will be releasing demonstrations of this technology and all that we do in the coming weeks. We care about access to care and precision.?We will work with ANYONE who is interested in that.? We will: - Provide discounts on technology to anyone who :? ??- is a ".org" or non profit ??- Currently works in a rural or destitute market ??- Anyone serving medicaid or low income -?Work with any player in the market, including competitors- we are an open system and nobody will be denied?? - Performing critical research in autism - Wants to bring down cost of diagnosis, assessment and therapy This will not be cheap or easy, ?but only hard things are worth doing.? Decency in business masterclass ?????? Recently as a business we needed to improve our systems primarily our EMR. After testing various platforms we landed on Passage Health founded by Bill White. We began rolling Passage Health out, but we were also in the midst of a partnership. And as we approached finalizing the merger it became apparent we would need to move to CentralReach to integrate with our partners. Most business owners would freak out about the potential loss of a customer and threaten to enforce the contract. Bill took a different approach when I called him. We discussed a fair buyout and terminated the agreement, leaving the conversation with mutual respect and decency. It may seem like a small thing, but to me it was eye opening how basic decency is lacking in a lot of B2B transactions. I cannot say enough good things about Bill and the team at Passage. They are top notch people. And we are disappointed to not be using their product, but Bill understood the situation from the client’s perspective. On a side note - our staff who were on the initial rollout of Passage, LOVED IT. If you are looking for a new EMR that also integrates data collection, please check them out. Top notch people developing a phenomenal product. Bill White - I know we’ve covered this on the phone, but thank you again for how you conduct yourself in business.
