Pasco County Planning and Development is currently looking for a Principal Transportation Planner. The Principal Transportation Planner is responsible for advanced and professional transportation planning work of complex specialized projects and studies with minimum to no supervision. The ideal candidate will assist in implementing existing transportation rules, design criteria and regulations. The PDD Principal Transportation Planner will also create and lead the development and establishment of alternative solutions to complex transportation engineering issues, while adhering to design criteria outlined in County’s and state’s design manuals, and new transportation rules, design criteria and regulations.?The Principal Transportation Planner is responsible for ultimately delivering projects that are of a high caliber design and quality that achieve the County’s vision. This role will play an active role in creating and implementing design standards that support Pasco County's diverse communities in both the Comprehensive Plan and the Land Development Code.
