The Pasadena Independent School District (ISD) Board of Trustees, unanimously, named Pasadena ISD Deputy Superintendent Dr. Toni Lopez as Pasadena ISD’s Superintendent. Dr. Lopez will replace Superintendent Dr. DeeAnn Powell who is retiring and will take on the role of Superintendent Emeritus until her official retirement date. Fifty-nine Bondy Intermediate 8th grade students are on the school's annual trip to Washington DC and New York City. While in Washington, four students were selected to participate in the wreath laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cemetery.
