I want to give a shout out to Giselle Palacios and Caitlin Power, my awesome (small but mighty) Research and Data Team at Partnership for College Completion for a busy week presenting around the Midwest! Giselle Palacios and I presented on how to more equitably and adequately fund Illinois' public colleges and universities at Complete College America's #AllinCCA2024 conference in Indianapolis, and appreciated all of the excellent feedback we received. Meanwhile at the Association for the Study of Higher Education in Minneapolis Caitlin shared PCC's "What We Need to Succeed" report, which was a student-driven project they led that uncovered some of the biggest issues facing our students and what we can do to address them. Under the theme, ???????????????????? ???????????? ???? ???????????? ??????????????????: ?????? ???????? ????????????, PCC hosted its eighth annual ILEA Summit at Moraine Valley Community College in late October with a keynote speech from Dr. Frank Harris III. Leaders from City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago State University, Oakton College and Northern Illinois University also spoke about driving equity on their campuses. https://ow.ly/ZB4F50UbRr4

PCC's Government Affairs Manager Danielle Stanley and Senior Manager of Research and Policy Mike Abrahamson presented to UPI Local 4100 last week to share more about how SB 3965 will transform higher education and Illinois as a whole.

PCC hosted its first, in-person IDEEA Exchange at Moraine Valley Community College in late October. The event was an opportunity for the 17 IDEEA institutions to gather and share learnings in reforming developmental education programs. https://ow.ly/kc6Y50U5gFS

Had a wonderful learning experience at the Partnership for College Completion ‘s 2024 ILEA Summit at Moraine Valley Community College. It was great to hear how community colleges throughout Illinois, including City Colleges of Chicago-Wilbur Wright College, are advancing equity.
