?? Did you know that only 34% of Black students and 28% of Latinx students in Illinois earn a college degree? At PCC, we are taking action ?????????? ?????? to change that reality. Help us bridge equity gaps in access, affordability and completion, and ensure that students from underserved communities have access to the supports they need. And the best part? Every donation will be matched up to $5,000! https://lnkd.in/gKtw7rvy

I want to give a shout out to Giselle Palacios and Caitlin Power, my awesome (small but mighty) Research and Data Team at Partnership for College Completion for a busy week presenting around the Midwest! Giselle Palacios and I presented on how to more equitably and adequately fund Illinois' public colleges and universities at Complete College America's #AllinCCA2024 conference in Indianapolis, and appreciated all of the excellent feedback we received. Meanwhile at the Association for the Study of Higher Education in Minneapolis Caitlin shared PCC's "What We Need to Succeed" report, which was a student-driven project they led that uncovered some of the biggest issues facing our students and what we can do to address them. You can check out the reports we presented on at PCC's website (https://lnkd.in/gAzs6GBy).
