Calling all IDD community advocates! ?? New York’s proposed budget for 2025-2026 is missing something important—CCO/HHs, like Care Design New York. CCO/HHs have been included in the budget in previous years (SFY 2022-2023 and SFY 2023-2024), and they should be now. But this exclusion doesn't reflect the rising costs of care. We're pushing for: ?? CCO/HHs to be restored in the budget. ?? A COLA increase to 7.8% to keep up with the rising cost of care. ?? A Wage Commission to ensure fair pay for the amazing direct support professionals and human service workers who make a difference every day. We need your support!
