关于我们
As metropolitan Atlanta and the American South undergo major demographic and economic shifts Partnership for Southern Equity (PSE) works to address issues of growth and access because of the disproportionate burdens they impose on vulnerable communities. PSE is leading the way in helping to change and frame policy conversations by partnering with decision makers and community stakeholders to realize equitable policies and outcomes that benefit everyone. Through the leadership of PSE and its partners thoughtful conversations have evolved into collective action because PSE understands the critical need to articulate and promote equity as the superior growth model when broaching these issues to local organizations, community and business leaders, governmental entities and regional organizations.

Black women continue to face significant health disparities, from higher maternal mortality rates to a greater risk of chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity. These disparities are deeply rooted in systemic inequalities, including limited access to quality healthcare, racial bias, and social determinants like housing and food security. To combat these challenges, it’s crucial that we work towards a more equitable healthcare system that addresses the unique needs of Black women. The JUST HEALTH portfolio provides a pathway for individuals and communities to actively support efforts aimed at eliminating these disparities and improving health outcomes for Black women. By getting involved, you can help push for policy changes, raise awareness, and support a movement that is working to drive lasting transformation in healthcare access, maternal health, and chronic disease prevention. ???? As we honor Women's HerStory Month, we recognize that just as Simone redefined her own purpose, the women of PSE are continually redefining their leadership, their values, and their contributions. Each step they take is rooted in a deep commitment to social justice, equity, and the vision of a more inclusive future. At PSE, we understand that our mission requires constant introspection, accountability, and the courage to lead with conviction—today and every day. Through this ongoing process of re-identification, we not only honor our personal growth but also our collective power to create lasting change. The time is now to continue shaping our legacy and leading with purpose. #HerStory #Leadership #PSEWomen #MissionDriven #SocialJustice

Maya Angelou’s powerful words remind us that life is not about merely surviving, but about truly thriving—living with passion, compassion, humor, and style. This philosophy resonates deeply with PSE’s mission to amplify the voices and stories of trailblazing women who have paved the way for change. These women, like Angelou, have turned struggles into triumphs, adversity into strength, and their journeys are not just to be remembered, but to be celebrated. At PSE, we are dedicated to lifting up the stories of women who have shaped history and continue to break barriers. Through their resilience, creativity, and unwavering commitment, these women inspire us to not just exist, but to thrive and make a meaningful impact. By amplifying their narratives, we are creating space for future generations of women to rise, lead, and thrive with the same passion, compassion, humor, and style that defined Angelou’s extraordinary life and legacy.
