What an epic marketplace launch by Virtuous today! ?? They clearly rallied the troops to spread the word about their elevated ecosystem. ?? Just 5 hours after announcing their marketplace on LinkedIn, their post had: ?? 60+ comments ?? 20 reposts ...from internal team members, Virtuous partners, and excited customers! But what impressed me most was the process they took to get here. ?? We opened a trial of Partner Fleet for Stephen Olmstead (SVP Product), and he built out a full demo for Virtuous — with almost no guidance from our team! ????? This gave him exactly what he needed to get his executive team fully bought in to the vision (?? see screenshot from their CEO, Gabe Cooper). Then, Amanda Lewis jumped in and became an overnight power user. She turned every knob, pushed every button, and cranked every lever. ???? She even discovered capabilities in Partner Fleet that we didn’t know existed — like embedding PandaDoc forms for digital signatures. Today, their public and in-app marketplaces are LIVE, and their ecosystem is off to the races! And they’re just getting started — I know they’re making big moves to enable third parties to build even more integrations through their streamlined Developer Portal. ?? Congrats to the Virtuous team and their partners! ????

This is what it looks like when a team goes all-in on their ecosystem. Virtuous just launched their marketplace—and they didn’t hold back. They used nearly every feature we offer to build a seamless, high-impact experience: ? A single place to find service partners and integrations ? Public marketplace—for prospects on their website ? An in-app marketplace—to help logged-in users discover, connect, and configure integrations ? Back-end automation & resources to streamline the partner experience And they launched with a splash! As soon as their marketplace went live, they announced it everywhere—via in-app notifications, a product update, a blog post, and LinkedIn. This marketplace was built and managed by Stephen Olmstead and Amanda Lewis, who took full advantage of our out-of-the-box functionality to craft a top-tier app marketplace. And when our developer portal launched, they immediately started creating workflows. If there was a button in Partner Fleet, Stephen & Amanda clicked it. If there was a feature, they found it. They used our self-serve options and built without hand-holding. They are truly Partner Fleet power users. Along the way, they shared incredible feedback on Partner Fleet: ?? "I love the features being rolled out, especially the pipelines." ?? "The new layout is a game-changer!" ?? "Love the new HubSpot mapping page. What a great update!" ?? "Partner Fleet has shown it’s more than a vendor—it’s a true partner, always innovating and improving." And Virtuous customers and partners are just as excited: ?? "This is a game-changer for nonprofits! Streamlining technology and integrations means more time for building meaningful donor relationships." ?? “So helpful for nonprofits to be able to have a one stop shop of who and what to connect to when trying to solve pain points.” ?? "This is a tremendous tool for missions, so excited to see this Virtuous. Thank you for finding ways to save time + improve engagement in our work" ??♀? “I'm sure there are others asking, like me, how do I get in on this?! :-)” The Virtuous Marketplace is already driving impact, and we can’t wait to see their ecosystem grow. Is there such a thing as a shark in partnerships? ?? In sales or business, sharks are admired. They’re aggressive, competitive, and relentlessly focused on winning. But partnerships? Partnerships are a different ocean entirely. Partnerships aren’t about “me winning.” They’re about “us winning.” It’s less about dominance and more about collaboration, alignment, and trust. Sharks thrive on taking. Partnerships thrive on giving. That doesn’t mean partnerships lack strong leaders. Quite the opposite. Partnerships demand leaders who can: ?? Navigate competing priorities and personalities ?? Advocate for mutual success ?? Build bridges between teams, companies, and goals It’s not shark-like behavior—it’s more like being a dolphin ??: strategic, social, and focused on working together to achieve something bigger. In partnerships, the best leaders aren’t out to dominate the waters. They’re here to make sure everyone gets safely to shore, together.

Some marketers have an unfair advantage. If you’re a marketer at a B2B SaaS company that has dozens or hundreds of integrations, you have a demand gen opportunity that others don’t. SaaS buyers place super high value on integrations. All the top analysts confirm this. Integrations are a top 3 buying consideration. Yet, they’re often treated as an afterthought when it comes to product marketing. Brands don’t give them the attention they deserve relative to how important they are to your target buyers. And therein lies the opportunity. Do what your competitors won’t and start marketing the hell out of your integrations. The cheat code is to market them in mass through your app marketplace. (this is often the final step in the digital buyer’s journey before they book a demo and talk to a human) Conversion rates can exceed 2% (some Partner Fleet customers are closer to 4%), which gives a massive boost above and beyond what your primary website will do for you. Alongside this, market your top 10 integrations like you do your top features. Then, leverage your partner network to multiply your distribution (free marketing!). While everyone is trying to do the same things better than their competitors, you’ll be leveraging a proprietary demand gen channel to build a competitive moat.

You should be marketing integrations like core features Why? Because it’s easier to get adoption for integrations than new product features. And integrations drive better business results. ? Customers actively request integrations. ? Co-marketing with partners expands your reach. ? Integrations help you piggyback on bigger brands for awareness. ? And most importantly—integrations reduce churn (users with 5+ integrations are 60-80% less likely to churn). Yet, many B2B SaaS companies don’t prioritize integration marketing. No launch plans. No announcements. No dedicated landing pages. That’s a missed opportunity. Your integrations should be a key part of your GTM strategy. Just like your core product, they need: ?? Dedicated launch campaigns ?? Email announcements ?? Search-optimized landing pages ?? Co-marketing with tech partners If your buyers care about integrations, your marketing team should too. Want to make integration promotion easy? A marketplace can be an evergreen source of awareness and adoption. ?? Read more: https://lnkd.in/gD6i6fGf

Is your global partnerships strategy held back by a single-language app marketplace? We believe that while partnerships are global, individual needs are local. And the clearest indicator of that is language. So we built... ? Marketplace Translations? ...a straightforward solution to localize your partner marketplace in Portuguese, Spanish, French, German, Dutch, or any other language you need, without tying up your engineering team. If your product is built for the world, your marketplace should be, too. Learn more about our new feature here: https://lnkd.in/gAxtGE2b
