Join us for a 90-minute interactive virtual workshop happening on February 12th! Meet Karen Horsch, our speaker for the upcoming Data collection workshop. Karen Horsch, Ed.M., is a skilled evaluator and trainer specializing in process and outcome evaluation for organizational and community development. She helps nonprofit organizations, foundations, coalitions and state agencies develop effective evaluation approaches and translate data into meaningful action. As Principal Evaluator at Partec, Karen leads evaluation initiatives including measuring the impact of infrastructure development programs on participating organizations. In her independent consulting work, she partners with social and public health sector nonprofits to develop right-sized data collection tools and processes to support both program improvement and funder reporting. Karen provides strategic guidance to foundations in developing evaluation frameworks for funding initiatives, bringing particular depth to health and community foundation work. She regularly conducts training sessions on logic models and evaluation for foundation, public sector and nonprofit staff. Previously, Karen served as a Senior Evaluation Associate at Innovation Network, a Washington, DC-based nonprofit consulting firm. Before that, as a Research Associate/Project Manager at the Harvard Family Research Project, she led research initiatives focused on afterschool programs. ??
