Recently, Parra & Co proudly participated in the USHCC 45th National Conference, hosted by the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Greater Kansas City. This significant gathering of Hispanic business leaders from across the nation was a golden opportunity for us to deepen connections and showcase the vibrant spirit of Texas small businesses. Project Highlight: Lucky Dog Wash Wagging Re-Plat ???? With strategic problem-solving, last year Parra & Co was able to successfully manage the re-platting for the Lucky Dog Wash Wagging Expansion in San Antonio, TX ??? During the platting process, we found an unaccounted-for public water utility, which now, after collaboration with our surveyor, was added as an easement, reflecting its location on the new plat ? Additionally, the parcel’s frontage road and driveway fell under TxDOT’s jurisdiction, which required additional TxDOT coordination, aside the typical coordination with the City ??? As with all our plats, we conducted a detailed site assessment, including a boundary survey, environmental checks, and reviewing zoning and land use regulations. We developed the preliminary plat design, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, while coordinating between the City and TXDOT to meet all requirements ??? ?? Parra & Co represented the project in meetings with the City, addressed feedback, and made necessary revisions. This August we had the privilege of attending the 2024 State of Transit hosted by San Antonio Mobility Coalition -?SAMCo. It was an inspiring gathering that not only highlighted the advancements in our region's transit system but also celebrated the impactful leadership of VIA Metropolitan Transit's President & CEO Jeff Arndt, who announced his upcoming retirement in January 2025 ??? The luncheon featured a vital discussion on VIA’s major projects, including the innovative Advanced Rapid Transit (ART) corridor, the Green Line, and the expanded VIA Link service. These initiatives are set to transform how we move around San Antonio, making transit more accessible and efficient for everyone ?????
