Parkway Construction was founded in 1981 by John Elmer, whose vision was for Parkway to become the “Customer’s Choice” by delivering excellent projects with excellent people. Parkway has realized this vision by placing the highest priority on staying true to its values of integrity, trust, and respect. Parkway recognized early on that the best way to provide the highest level of service is to develop repeat customers with similar values, and vision. Driven by this philosophy, Parkway established strong relationships with customers that desired to have a better experience as they expanded their concepts. We’re pleased to announce the start of the Sanford Flats project in collaboration with Highside Companies. Located at the corner of Bookcliff Avenue and North 13th Street in Grand Junction, Colorado, this 47,703-square-foot, 3-story walk-up multifamily complex will include 57 units, featuring a mix of studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom with a den, and two-bedroom apartments.
We’re excited to highlight the start of Sanford Flats, one of our multifamily projects in Grand Junction, CO. The construction team at Parkway Construction & Architecture has recently completed the earthwork and foundations just before the snow starts to fly. We’re excited to see this one go vertical in the next few months.

Serving as the general contractor, Parkway oversaw every aspect of construction for this 29,255-square-foot temple on a 4.97-acre site. Rising to 125 feet, this sacred structure beautifully integrates intricate design and natural landscaping, creating a serene and welcoming space for worship for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The temple’s steel-frame structure, clad in architectural precast concrete, is enhanced by custom millwork, elegant marble, intricate art glass, and historic-inspired lighting. Designed by Barnett Fronczak and Barlowe & Shuler Architects, with interiors by GSBS Architects, the temple’s detailing reflects both timeless beauty and local traditions. ?? ???? ???????????? ?????? ???? ???????????????????? ???????? ???????????????? ???????????????? ???? ????????????! The temple is open for a public open house now through Saturday, November 23, 2024 (excluding Sundays).
