We, at Parks Project, Stand with Park Staff & Public Lands ?? Thousands of National Park Service and U.S. Forest Service employees have been immediately terminated due to federal budget cuts—putting our public lands at risk. Fewer rangers mean neglected trails, overflowing trash, increased wildfire dangers, and more. These folks keep us safe in the parks, they educate us on protecting the wildlife and habitats, and they push research to keep the parks thriving for generations to come. For over a decade, we’ve worked alongside park staff, learning & witnessing firsthand the mounds of dedication and grit it takes to protect these spaces. Cutting their funding isn’t just a staffing issue—it’s a crisis for our parks and the future of outdoor recreation. As the National Parks Conservation Association stated, "The impacts of these cuts won't be temporary. Staff are the heartbeat of parks and local economies". We urge fellow outdoor brands, organizations, and advocates to take action: ?? Call or write your representatives to demand restored funding. ?? Support conservation groups fighting for our parks and workforce. ( Tap our latest IG post for direct handle tags and info. https://lnkd.in/gGnHkk-R ) ?? Spread awareness and stand with those who safeguard these wild places. This isn’t just a policy decision—it’s about protecting the lands we all depend on. Let’s fight for the people who keep our parks open, safe, and accessible for generations to come. It's in our mission to do the same. Tap the below link from the NPCA to join them in telling congress to stand up for park staff and roll back today's devastating job cuts. https://lnkd.in/gdz_jbYi #ParksProject #LeaveItBetter #ProtectPublicLands #FundOurParks #MissionDriven #BrandAwareness #ParkStaff #NationalParks

This week is a ?BIG? milestone for us at Parks Project—we’re celebrating 10 years of impact! ?? Since 2015, we’ve rallied together with park champions like you to give back over $2.7 million to national parks, funding vital projects that help preserve the places we love to explore. Over the past decade, we’ve proven that small actions can spark big change. As we reflect on these 10 years, we want to recognize the dedication of our co-founders, Keith Eshelman & Sevag Kazanci, whose vision, hard work, and love for public lands made all of this possible. Our mission remains the same: to Leave It Better? for future generations. Protecting the parks takes group effort, especially today. This milestone is just the beginning. Here’s to another decade of impact, conservation, and community-driven change.
