The?Florida Parking and Transportation Association?(FPTA) is currently taking nominations for its Board of Directors, and our very own Matthew Valera is up for re-election!?As Regional Sales Director at Parking Guidance Systems, LLC?Matthew oversees sales and business development for the entire East Coast and South American market. "It’s been an honor to serve on the FPTA on the board for the past two years. During that time I was the Chair on education and spearheaded two mid-year events supporting and promoting the organization,” said Valera.?As one of the youngest members of the board, Matthew is committed to being a proactive member and continue to contribute fresh and new industry trends. He is also an active member of IPMI, where he is currently serving on its Technology Committee through 2026. A lifelong Floridian, Matthew has grown up in the parking industry and is dedicated to improving parking administration, guidance, and safety throughout out the state.?In his spare time, if you don’t see Matthew with his wife and son, you will find him on a golf course honing his skills.? All FPTA members can vote until December 2nd.?
