关于我们
ParkFowler Plus is a multidisciplinary design studio that works on projects as imaginative—and alongside clients as committed to good architecture—as we are. We believe that good design is more than innovative technology, though we ceaselessly experiment with methods and materials. We believe it is more than rigorous research, though we are at the forefront of pedagogy and public learning. We believe it is more than composition, though we are indebted to the formal clarity of modernism. More than anything, we believe good design manages to inspire awe, steward resources, and serve communities. A woman-owned, minority business enterprise, ParkFowler Plus is based in Chicago, IL, with a global portfolio of work in architecture, interiors, and urban design.

Congratulations to ParkFowler Plus, Dirk Denison Architects, Future Firm, and Vladimir Radutny, winners of the Chicago Architecture Center's Missing Middle Infill Housing design competition! It has great potential for expanding to multiple neighborhoods in need of re-densification.? ? I want to personally invite prospective developers to explore the creative housing schemes contained in our Design Catalog, and follow up with CAC at?[email protected]?for more information on the designs and firms.? ? ParkFowler Plus is excited to announce that our submission for the Six-Flat category has been selected as the winner of the Come Home Missing Middle Infill Housing Competition! Our entry was one of 56 from firms nationwide invited to propose innovative design solutions for density infill housing in underserved Chicago neighborhoods. This competition provided an opportunity for PFP to leverage our expertise in enhancing the resident experience. Our design addresses the typical six-flat’s limitations with natural light by splitting and rotating the apartment orientation. The addition of a central courtyard shifts the focus to an open, shared space, significantly increasing the usable fa?ade and enhancing the overall quality of life for residents. This competition runs parallel with the launch of the City of Chicago’s Department of Planning and Development's Missing Middle Infill Housing Initiative. Aiming to revitalize vacant land and develop affordable, mid-density housing in underserved communities, this initiative offers 44 city-owned lots in North Lawndale for development at a cost of $1 each. Reach out if you're interested in working with us this very important housing issue... we have a winning solution for you, we are Self-Certified Architects and we'd love to see it realized!
