Tucked away in a lush canyon at the base of the Santa Monica Mountains, Mariposa House reinvents living for a modern family of five through a dramatic, yet thoughtful renovations of a classic mid-century California home. Wood House, on the other hand, is an exercise in the balance between openness and privacy, and transparency and opacity, within Chicago’s dense urban fabric.
