Park City Community Foundation believes that addressing mental health is a critical issue in our community. We are pleased to have partnered with Katz Amsterdam Charitable Trust to facilitate granting $500,000 to local organizations focused on mental health. Katz Amsterdam announced more than $2.83 million in grants to mountain resort communities across the West aimed at supporting community-driven initiatives that enhance access to mental health services, reduce stigma, and provide culturally responsive care. Locally, this funding will support a wide range of sub-grantees that are working to improve access to treatment, expand bilingual support, and address substance use recovery in the local community. In addition to building permanent philanthropic endowments for our region, Park City Community Foundation enables donors to establish their own charitable funds and contribute a variety of assets to them, so they can support the specific issues and organizations they care about. And because the Community Foundation is intimately knowledgeable about the nonprofit activities of our community, we’re able to advise donors on the specific organizations that are doing the most meaningful, high-impact work. At the same time, we’re continuously serving as advisors to and advocates for the full range of local nonprofits, so that every organization can be strengthened for the greater good of the community.

Maria Arias, a Youth United participant, is turning dreams into reality. After moving from Colombia and joining the Park City Speedskating Club, Maria recently had a chance to meet Olympic legend Eric Heiden at the Youth Sports Alliance's Jans Winter Welcome fundraiser. Their chance encounter—a handwritten note Maria wrote in Spanish—was a moment of inspiration, showcasing the power of sport to unite. Maria has achieved incredible milestones, including winning her first-ever ice speedskating race.?? ?? ?? THANK YOU to all of the nonprofits, sponsors, donors, and volunteers that made Live PC Give PC a great success!! A total of 7,042 donors gave $5,145,757 to support our community! Together, we supported 135 nonprofits to uplift the entire community. We are grateful to everyone who donated to Park City Community Foundation. Our organization alone raised $631,460, which will be used to help build community belonging, advance a thriving workforce, and create a sustainable future for Park City and Summit County. We are still tallying all the nonprofit prizes, which will be announced by Tuesday afternoon. More to come but for now: thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
