The Drain 27 Wetland Restoration project, situated south of Fargo, North Dakota, addressed wetland impacts resulting from the Fargo-Moorhead Area Flood Risk Management Project. Tasks include extensive excavation for a sizable wetland, creating a borrow ditch, constructing an earthen embankment with sheet pile and H-pile weirs, installing a low flow pipe through the embankment, and removing roads and utilities alongside building a permanent access road.

At Park Construction, we’re equipped to work straight through the harsh Midwestern winters. Our commitment to on-schedule, on-budget performance means we need the best tools to keep moving, even when the ground freezes over. One of our key tools for cold weather construction is the Fusion 3000 Hydronic Surface Heat System. This powerful equipment circulates glycol liquid through a network of hoses to thaw frozen ground and cure freshly poured concrete. Depending on the frost depth, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 5 days to warm up the ground. We pair this equipment with insulated concrete curing blankets so that we can keep working at full speed, providing predictable and reliable performance, no matter how low the temperature drops. For our clients, this means projects that stay on track—even during the coldest months of the year. Contact Park Construction for all of your winter construction needs. Have you ever wondered why some highway projects require a bypass to be built first? Well, it's because it ensures a smooth flow of traffic while the main improvements take place. It also helps to keeps drivers safe in construction zones. We recently built a bypass to County Road 81 near Fargo, North Dakota. Our project work included 45,000 cubic yards of topsoil striping, 52,000 cubic yards of embankment, and over 9000 tons of asphalt pavement. After we completed this bypass, work was able to begin on the full County Road 81 Improvements Project while this bypass safely navigated traffic around the construction area.

We take pride in delivering excellence on every project, whether it's a large-scale multimillion-dollar venture or a smaller-scale local endeavor. An example of one of our smaller projects is Street Smart Rentals in Columbus, Minnesota. Our team provided earthwork and paving services on a short roadway and cul de sac, optimizing functionality and access to this local business. In addition to the on-site improvements, we created a bypass and turn lane on the adjacent CSAH 23 to improve traffic flow. Street Smart Rentals is a testament to our ability to deliver top-notch services, ensuring that even smaller projects receive the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence as our larger ventures.

Although our new shop in Blaine has been open for a few months, there was one last task to finish—pouring the concrete floor in our brand new warehouse! Thanks to our skilled team, who are experts in concrete construction, the process was smooth and efficient. We're excited to have this final piece in place, allowing us to continue delivering the quality work our clients expect.
