We had an amazing time at the 2025 WIC Week Kick-Off Event held on Tuesday, February 25th at Splitsville, Foxboro, MA! This event, hosted by the NAWIC Rhode Island, Boston, and Worcester Chapters, was a fantastic opportunity for women in the construction industry to come together for a night of networking, fun, and celebration! This year’s theme, “Together We Rise”, truly set the tone for the evening, emphasizing the strength, knowledge, and resilience of women in shaping the future of the construction field. It was the perfect mix of professional bonding and casual fun. Pariseault Builders, Peregrine Property Management, Sheehans Office Interiors, and Vision 3 Architects joined forces to celebrate the women who are making an impact in the industry. Last week, members of the Pariseault Builders team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at the YWCA's "Women in Construction" event. This initiative focused on inspiring young minds by introducing them to the world of construction, using Legos to teach them basic building techniques. It was an afternoon filled with creativity, teamwork, and learning. Volunteering is more than just giving time; it's about making a lasting impact. By engaging with elementary students, we not only helped them develop new skills but also encouraged them to envision themselves in careers they might not have considered before. The excitement in the room was palpable as the children built their structures and learned the basics of construction. And the best part? The top 3 students of the event advanced to the semi-finals, showcasing their potential and hard work. At Pariseault Builders, we understand that giving back to the community is vital. It’s about nurturing the next generation of builders, engineers, and leaders. We’re proud to have been part of such a fantastic event and to have played a role in empowering young minds.
