#FamilyEngagement is absolutely essential!
On March 13, NCFL's National Director of Education Strategy & Innovation, Cassandra McGraw, had the honor of joining Bellwether and a dynamic panel of education leaders to discuss "Strategies for Strengthening Schools Through Family Engagement." With over 150 participants, the panel explored best practices, impactful strategies, and national efforts that are moving the needle on student success. At NCFL, we’ve seen firsthand how districts leveraging Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund (ESSER) funds, investing in district-wide professional learning, & co-designing solutions with families are driving real, measurable impact. From North Carolina to Nebraska, Colorado, and Kentucky, schools that prioritize meaningful partnerships with families are seeing transformative results. Remember: ?? Family engagement must be linked to learning. ?? It should be measured and sustained at the district level. ?? The voices of families must be included in decision-making. The work continues, and the momentum is strong. Let’s keep investing in what works!
