In our recent blog post, "The Elegance of Sustainability: How Eco-friendly Packaging Elevates Patient Experience," https://lnkd.in/eaWGV6KG, we explore sustainability is no longer an afterthought—it’s a necessity. The packaging of pharmaceutical products plays a critical role in the patient experience, ensuring both safety and convenience while addressing the pressing need for environmentally responsible solutions. One of the most promising innovations in this space is the shift toward Parcel Health's Tully Tubes - the world's first and oly paper-based prescription pill bottles - a solution that merges functionality with sustainability. As healthcare organizations and pharmaceutical companies embrace eco-friendly alternatives, paper-based packaging stands out as an affordable, functional, and elegant solution. Not only does it reduce environmental impact, but it also enhances the patient experience by promoting safety, ease of use, and brand trust. Let's keep the conversation going! 关于我们
Introducing Parcel Health, makers of the world's first and only paper prescription pill bottle. We take pride in setting a new standard for pharmaceutical packaging that's dedicated to protecting people and preserving the planet. Our paper pill prescription pill bottle is made with compostable paper and our proprietary Parcel Coat? to keep medications safer while 100% recyclable and safe enough for food. Why make the switch from plastic? Only 3% of the world's #5 plastic pill bottles actually get recycled. In fact, the majority of the 8 billion orange plastic vials distributed annually actually end up in landfills, unintentionally contributing to the global plastic waste crisis. We believe it's time to displace plastic pill bottles altogether with safer parcels. That's why we are thrilled to bring to market and celebrate the launch of Tully Tube. Made from compostable paper, Tully Tube is 100% recyclable, humidity, water and child-resistant and keeps medications up to 20°F cooler than plastic amber vials. And Tully Tube is 100% customizable. As a recent pharmacy owner noted, "It's just beautiful pill packaging." You can't say that about the traditional amber plastic vial. Our design team will work with you to transform your Tully Tube into a custom-designed parcels of elegance. Imagine your brand's authenticity represented in your patients medicine cabinet, creating greater trust with your pharmacy, health system or company. Tully Tube lessens carbon emissions by a minimum of 30% vs. plastic pill bottles, and easily disassembles for 100% curbside recycling. Join us. We're on a mission to displace 1 million plastic pill vials from the waste stream with safer, parcels. Together we can fill medicine cabinets with safe parcels, not plastics.

Is paper cooler than plastic? Our team took this question on in a thoughtful blog post recently, which we invite you to check out: https://lnkd.in/eau2q-Rz Traditional plastic pill bottles have long been the norm in pharmacies everywhere, due to their durability and moisture-resistant properties. But as concerns over plastic pollution grow, alternative materials are gaining attention. Why paper? Paper has a rich history that dates back thousands of years, with its origins traced to ancient China around 105 AD, when Cai Lun, a Chinese court official, is credited with the invention of paper. This invention revolutionized communication and record-keeping, and over time, paper became integral to the spread of knowledge and culture. The beauty of paper lies not only in its utility but also in its connection to art and tradition. For example, the Japanese art of origami and the intricate designs of paper cut art in various cultures highlight paper's versatility and aesthetic appeal. For insulation, paper has been regarded as a better material for offering a safer and more complete insulation from the elements and noise. People have even insulated their homes with paper! Turns out, paper can keep things temperature stable, better than other materials. So maybe, yes, paper is cooler. At least we think so! What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments below!

The emergence of GLP-1 (glucagon-like peptide-1) receptor agonists, such as semaglutide and liraglutide, has significantly influenced both healthcare and consumer behavior. These medications, originally developed to treat type 2 diabetes, have gained widespread popularity for their additional benefits in weight management. Their rapid adoption has created ripple effects across various sectors, including consumer food spending and pharmaceutical logistics.
