We never forget our obligation to the more than 22 million living Veterans in the United States, especially the nearly 2.6 million who nobly answered the call of service after the events of September 11, 2001. They and their families have faced significant challenges as they transition to civilian life. The Paramount Veterans Network continues to do what our Company has always done by making an unwavering commitment to assist our Nation’s Veterans and their families. Our common refrain is “What can we do to help?” Our Nation’s Veterans continue to look to us for inspiration. How will we respond? They need our energy and passion in addition to our gratitude and compassion. Our sacrifice has to be equal to theirs. As a Paramount family, we have looked beyond merely thanking these brave men and women for their service and are focused on the impactful ways that we can all make a lasting difference in their lives. Mentoring, education, internships and economic empowerment are key, as is producing outstanding shows that accurately showcase these brave men and women. This timeless work is a labor of love that Paramount Veterans Network is committed to fostering. We know that the sacrifices of our Nation’s Veterans and their families must never be forgotten, and that this great Company must do all that it can to promote their well-being. Throughout our 90-year history, "What can we do to help?" has always been our call to action and always will be!

As part of the Veterans Day and Marine Corps Birthday week… Paramount VetNet created immersive experiences for our veterans & service members, Talent meet & greets, and produced our longstanding virtual coffee with vets interviews. Today, we were happy to welcome not one but two very special guests at the CBS New York News studio… Tatiana Zappardino from P+ Tulsa King who is a Marine Corps veteran and plays Sylvester Stallone’s daughter Tina Manfredi on Tulsa King. And, Austin Stowell from CBS NCIS Origins who plays young Jethro Gibbs, and will be the Masters of Ceremonies this evening for the NYC Marine Birthday Gala on the Intrepid. https://lnkd.in/eDA-MZ3n Tatiana and Austin also had the opportunity to meet with veterans and service members. For National Veterans and Military Families Month, we are proud to highlight our veterans and their families ? Today we are proud to honor Retired Sergeant Major, Edmond Lopez, who served his final assignment with a United States Army Special Operations Command unit at Fort Belvoir, VA, until August 2019. Edmond enlisted in the U.S. Army at 17 and attended Basic Training 30 days later as the youngest recruit. Edmond completed Airborne School and the Ranger Indoctrination Program, joining the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. Edmond later became a Green Beret, serving with the 7th Special Forces Group and deploying to Afghanistan, Iraq, and multiple South American countries. His notable assignments included training elite units, counter-drug operations, and combat operations worldwide. Edmond holds a bachelor’s degree from Norwich University. His military training spans specialized schools such as Ranger School, the Special Forces Engineer Course, and the Special Operations Sniper School. Edmond’s awards include the Legion of Merit, two Bronze Stars, Defense Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medals with Valor, Meritorious Service Medals, and the Special Forces Bronze Order of Saint Philip Neri. Edmond currently leads ADA public accommodations, multilingual servicing, and power of attorney/guardianship programs for Capital One in Northern Virginia.
