关于我们
We never forget our obligation to the more than 22 million living Veterans in the United States, especially the nearly 2.6 million who nobly answered the call of service after the events of September 11, 2001. They and their families have faced significant challenges as they transition to civilian life. The Paramount Veterans Network continues to do what our Company has always done by making an unwavering commitment to assist our Nation’s Veterans and their families. Our common refrain is “What can we do to help?” Our Nation’s Veterans continue to look to us for inspiration. How will we respond? They need our energy and passion in addition to our gratitude and compassion. Our sacrifice has to be equal to theirs. As a Paramount family, we have looked beyond merely thanking these brave men and women for their service and are focused on the impactful ways that we can all make a lasting difference in their lives. Mentoring, education, internships and economic empowerment are key, as is producing outstanding shows that accurately showcase these brave men and women. This timeless work is a labor of love that Paramount Veterans Network is committed to fostering. We know that the sacrifices of our Nation’s Veterans and their families must never be forgotten, and that this great Company must do all that it can to promote their well-being. Throughout our 90-year history, "What can we do to help?" has always been our call to action and always will be!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! Paramount VetNet is celebrating this month which runs September 15th to October 15th, by honoring service members and military family members of Hispanic/Latino heritage on our Instagram Page. Today we celebrate and honor Master Chief (SEAL-Ret.) Alexander Restrepo of Virginia Beach, VA. He passed away suddenly January 27, 2020. He was born in Costa Rica, grew up in Connecticut, and spent much of his military career in Virginia Beach. Master Chief Restrepo enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1977, and after a brief tour in the surface navy, he volunteered for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training in Coronado, CA. He served over twenty-five years in Underwater Demolition and SEAL Teams earning a distinguished record of accomplishments. During his military service he deployed as a platoon member in Underwater Demolition Team 21 to the Caribbean and the Mediterranean until he was handpicked to join the recently formed SEAL Team SIX, in which he served in increasingly significant leadership positions. Master Chief Restrepo led, and participated in, multiple classified worldwide operations in support of U.S. and foreign governments, militaries, and agencies. Alex was a professional, reliable, and loyal teammate, as well as, a devoted family man who had the admiration and respect of his fellow warriors. He is survived by his wife Amy, his children Alexandra, Kyle, and Lauren; his father Horacio; his sister Adriana L’Archevesque, her husband Lee and children, Emma, Lily, Lia, and Grace; his brother Marco and his wife Katie and children Nicolas and Elijah; his cousin Victor Fallas, wife Karolyn and sons Tyler and Dean. Alex was predeceased by his mother Iris. We thank Alex Restrepo for his selfless service, and reflect on his passing. He is a shining example of the proud legacy of Latino and Hispanic Americans in the armed forces. https://lnkd.in/e4E5JTEx #paramountvetnet #paramountveteransnetwork #paramountveterans #army #marines #navy #airforce #nationalguard #airnationalguard #coastguard #spaceforce #paramount #family #community #veteran #veterans #military #militaryfamily #HispanicHeritageMonth #alexrestrepo #costaricaproud #costarican #proudlatino #coastaricanamerican #navyseals

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the devastating news of the untimely passing of our dear colleague, Alexis Anne Marion, due to a sudden, tragic medical event. Alexis was not just our co-worker, but also our great friend, and we will all miss her more than words can express. In her role as the Intrepid Museum’s vice president of institutional advancement, Alexis secured essential support that makes delivering on our mission possible. Her impact will be felt by many, now and into the future. Alexis was an inspiring and respected leader, mentor and colleague who had a passion for her work that was powered by her joyful, kind spirit. Every day at the Museum was better for her being in it. Please join us in keeping Alexis, her family, and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
