RICARDO MERCHANT NAMED GENERAL MANAGER OF AVANTI INTERNATIONAL RESORT Paramount Hospitality Management (PHM) is excited to announce the appointment of Ricardo Merchant as General Manager of Avanti International Resort. With a distinguished career in the hospitality industry, Merchant will be instrumental in driving new initiatives to elevate the guest experience and operational excellence at the resort. Merchant brings to his new role more than 20 years of extensive experience in the hospitality industry, starting as a PBX supervisor and progressing through various leadership positions. Having previously been part of the PHM team at both Avanti Palms Resort and Conference Center in Orlando and The Grove Resort & Water Park in Winter Garden, his return marks a continuation of his valuable contributions to PHM. With a strong background in hotel management, guest relations, and operational strategy, he has developed his expertise over years of committed service, including participation in new property openings and renovation projects. Drawing from his rich life experiences, Merchant has cultivated an empathetic and resilient leadership approach that shines through in how he interacts with guests and guides his team. “I can speak for all of us that the team is very happy to welcome Ricardo back to Paramount Hospitality Management, and we look forward to his positive contributions and uplifting leadership style to drive and enhance the operations of Avanti International Resort,” said Marco Manzie, Founder and President of Paramount Hospitality Management.
