Water professionals from across the country gathered in New Orleans for WEFTEC. Employee-owners Steven Drangsholt and John Phillips had the opportunity to teach students about the carbon cycle and its impact on our lives. The highly anticipated Overlook Walk on the Seattle Waterfront opened to the public on Friday, October 4! Parametrix employee-owners made their way down from the office to check it out. Located where the Alaskan Way Viaduct once stood, the elevated park provides pedestrian connections between Pike Place Market, downtown, the Seattle Aquarium and the entire 20-acre Waterfront Park. It provides 360-degree views of Elliot Bay, the Olympics, Mt. Rainier, and the Seattle skyline. Parametrix has been involved in Seattle waterfront improvements for over two decades, originally as a member of the Viaduct replacement project team. We're thrilled to see this project come to fruition!
