In order to keep their businesses running, Marriott International and Compass Group need their recruiters to be hiring machines. With Compass hiring 140,000 people a year in the US and Marriott hiring 200,000 annually, the scale is massive. But at the end of the day, those recruiters aren't machines. They're just people.
