What a wonderful week of Bingo its been here at Paradise Valley Estates! The laughter, excitement, and Camaraderie within our community have truly made this week special. We’ve had some lucky winners and some not so lucky, no matter the outcome, its the shared moments and the smiles between all our team members that have made this week so memorable. Its been a joy for everyone, and we cant wait for the next time we get to play.

This week, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Patti Luccioni, our Sales and Marketing Director at Paradise Valley Estates (PVE). Patti has been an integral part of our team for over 28 years, beginning as an Office Manager and working her way up to her current role as Director of Sales and Marketing. When we asked her about the key to selling a continuing care retirement community, she said, “ It’s not about selling. It’s about educating clients on senior living and the concept of continuing care“ It’s a unique experience to work in what is essentially someone’s home. At PVE our team members have the rewarding opportunity to enjoy that concept.

Paradise Valley Estates hosted its annual Employee Appreciation Party, recognizing and celebrating the hard work and dedication of its team members. The event provided an opportunity to express gratitude for their contributions, foster team spirit, and strengthen the sense of community within the organization. The night was filled with activities for all, whether it was enjoying casino games with our PVE “money,” singing along to karaoke, or dancing the night away there was fun for everyone.

To further enhance our community outreach program, Nicole Baumann our Safety Services Coordinator organized a donation drive over the holidays for our local SPCA. Our residents and team members eagerly came together to collect much needed items, showing incredible generosity. It’s heartwarming to witness our community unite in support and express gratitude for the SPCA’s unwavering dedication and acts of kindness. How do you enhance your teams community outreach efforts?

To wrap up the Holiday Festivities, Paradise Valley Estates is spreading some cheer with a delightful hot cocoa pop-up, perfect for this cold weather. How do you close out the Holiday season with your teams?

We are thrilled to announce the 27th anniversary of the opening of Paradise Valley Estates, a life plan community in northern California! This milestone is not just about the years that have passed, but about the longevity of this community, the incredible friendships, memories, and vibrant lives that have flourished here throughout all these years. As we celebrate this significant achievement, we wish to recognize the dedication and contributions of our residents, staff, and their families, all of whom have made our community a truly special place to call home. Notably, we honor the commitment of 18 staff members who have served our community for over 25 years. It is remarkable to reflect on the fact that 27 years ago, on November 1, 1997, we opened the doors to this beautiful community.

Every year we celebrate Active Aging week with a range of activities to promote healthy lifestyles through engaging Wellness activities for our residents. This year’s weeklong event featured water volleyball and pickle ball tournaments, lap swim and cyber cycle challenges, and a “battle” between residents in our two assisted living buildings. Every year we see more and more of our residents participating in Active Aging week, and sharing their individual “keys to longevity.”
