Today I am honored to announce Paradigm Health's collaboration with Japan's National Cancer Center (NCC), one of the most prestigious institutions in Japan, under the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. Aligned with our global mission, the aim of our partnership is to extend our global presence, while we expand and democratize access to cancer clinical trials resulting in ultimately more breakthrough and innovative treatments for all patients in Japan. National Cancer Center Hospital East (NCCHE), which conducts over 500 clinical trials annually, leads Japan’s largest cancer genomic screening network (LC-SCRUM-Asia) across 150+ hospitals. Now, Paradigm Health will have the privilege of working with NCCHE to streamline clinical trial operations nationwide, making it easier for global biopharmaceutical companies to include Japanese sites in their development programs. Together we are launching LC-SCRUM-CD, a new program in collaboration with NCC and PREMIA, which will increase access to clinical trials across Japan, and solve the problem of “drug loss” by bringing clinical trials to Japan faster. I’m humbled by NCC’s vision and leadership in advancing cancer care across Japan and their trust in Paradigm Health and our team. Today, I am thrilled and honored to announce that Paradigm Health is partnering with the CEO Roundtable on Cancer to launch a new initiative that will improve diversity in clinical trials: the PACT Collective. We founded Paradigm Health as a mission focused company to create more equitable access to best possible care for all patients, and this step today is a key partnership helping to make that a reality. For over 20 years the CEO Roundtable on Cancer has worked towards the elimination of cancer as a personal disease and public health problem through initiatives that reduce the risk of cancer, enable early diagnosis, facilitate access to treatment, and hasten the discovery of effective therapies. In conversations around this topic with our CEO Roundtable colleagues it’s clear we all agree there needs to be a fundamental change in how society approaches healthcare equity. The PACT Collective is a collaborative effort to ensure that every patient, regardless of background, has the opportunity to benefit from clinical research. Our leadership team is in Israel today announcing a groundbreaking partnership with Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer and ARC Innovation. We are honored to be part of this announcement highlighting Sheba’s ongoing leadership in #clinicaltrials and the role Paradigm will play in supporting the scaling of clinical trials throughout Israel, and the development of a global clinical trials network with Sheba and ARC. Sheba Medical Center is Israel's largest hospital and a well-established leader in clinical trials. Through the deployment of our platform, we will help extend Sheba’s reach, efficiency, and capabilities across Sheba and their affiliated clinics. We’ll be collaborating to streamline trial operations, including feasibility assessments, patient screening, recruitment, and data collection. Sheba is a hugely in-demand location for biopharma trials, and our work together will expand their capacity by lowering the administrative burden of trials. That means more patients will have access to innovative treatments, and providers will be able to spend more time focusing on patient care rather than paperwork.
