Pedro Albizu Campos Apartments is a 9-story affordable housing development located at 1203 North California Ave in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood. Named in honor of Puerto Rican patriot and activist Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos, the project provides 64 family-oriented apartments in a community facing a housing shortage, rising development costs, and changing demographics. This development offers area residents, who might otherwise be displaced, the opportunity to remain and continue the vibrance and cultural heritage that has become synonymous with Humboldt Park.
