Jade Briana Beauty, founded by Jade Goodloe, a female veteran and doctorate-holding nurse practitioner with a private psychiatry practice specializing in mood and anxiety disorders for adults, especially veterans, understands this better than most. “The demands of military service put my skin through the motions,” Jade recalls. Frustrated with the harsh chemicals in conventional products, she leveraged her medical expertise to research clean, evidence-based active ingredients combined with natural remedies passed down to her. In the dynamic world of bespoke packaging, our goal has always been about more than just crafting a container; we aim to create an experience. This philosophy found a perfect match in our collaboration with The Chocolate Room, a Brooklyn-based haven for chocolate enthusiasts. Founded by Naomi Josepher and her husband, Jon, in 2005, their café was created as a place where dessert was the main attraction. “We felt dessert was often a disappointment in many restaurants, so we wanted to create a place for people to indulge in the most extraordinary chocolate, ice cream, and desserts,” explains Naomi. “We find that chocolate brings people together, promoting invaluable moments of enjoyment. On the entrepreneurial journey, sometimes the most extraordinary stories begin in the most ordinary settings. For By the Graces, a family business born out of quarantine creativity in 2020, this certainly holds true as founders Lauren and Adam Grace turned a period of global uncertainty into an opportunity for joy and innovation. When Lauren, a teacher, started crafting personalized items popular among school staff, such as lanyards and wristlets, they were initially intended just for personal use. Her inspiration stemmed from simple necessity. “Teachers are often required to wear badges to school every day, and the dull, traditional lanyards just didn’t reflect my style,” she explains. However, their unique appeal quickly caught on, and soon co-workers clamored for Lauren’s fun, personalized lanyards as her hobby blossomed. Aphtan Mellado stumbled upon The Paper Tube Co. before she ever dreamed of starting her own business. Instantly curious about the possibilities of a paper cosmetic push-up tube, the wheels started turning and her vegan lip balm idea began to take shape.
