Our investor Bill Clerico of Convective Capital makes an important point - while investment in disaster resilience solutions is growing, it is not enough. Bloomberg reports only 3% of global climate tech funding goes to adaptation, and that needs to change. At Pano AI, we’re proud to help bring technology innovation to the frontlines of the wildfire crisis. We share Bill’s belief that adaptation technologies are not a niche market—they are a necessity. The demand for solutions that safeguard lives, homes, and businesses is rising, and venture-backed innovation is key to scaling impact. Thank you Coco Liu and Convective Capital for driving awareness and investment in this space. Read More:?https://bit.ly/3QdelZl #WildfireTech #VentureCapital #AIForGood

Wildfire management takes collaboration and it is great to see Douglas County leaders prioritizing investment in critical resources. Pano AI is proud to do our part in supporting the incredible work of Mike Alexander, CO-CEM, MS and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office in their tireless efforts to protect their communities. #WildfirePreparedness #PublicSafety #WildfireMitigation #Colorado
Your home and property are likely the biggest investment you’ll ever make, and that’s why your county invests significant resources in the firefighting tools needed to protect your life, home and family from our community’s No. 1 natural hazard – wildfires. "In light of the devastation in California, this historic step forward further underscores Douglas County’s unwavering commitment to be proactive and prepared in the event of a catastrophic wildfire," said Commissioner Abe Laydon as he and fellow Commissioners voted to invest $1,530,000 in air support. The LA fires are a stark reminder of the escalating wildfire threat and the urgent need for broader, faster adoption of advanced detection and mitigation technologies to keep pace with worsening weather conditions. Technology alone isn’t the solution, but it’s a critical tool to equip first responders and protect communities. Still, when we compare the technological capabilities in wildfire management to other industries, there's a clear and critical gap to address. Thank you The Information for highlighting this challenge and rallying the tech community to push for policy changes that drive real impact. The unprecedented wildfire crisis unfolding in the Los Angeles area is heartbreaking. Our thoughts are with everyone impacted by these devastating fires, and our deepest gratitude goes to the remarkable firefighters and first responders whose tireless efforts are nothing short of extraordinary. This crisis is also a stark reminder of why we founded Pano AI in 2020: to put cutting-edge technology tools in the hands of those fighting wildfires on the front lines. However, technology is only effective when it’s adopted. For that, we need broad leadership from business and government to ensure our first responders are equipped with the best and most advanced tools. Policymakers and the public must come together to prioritize programs, funding, and policy reform for firefighter support, aviation and ground resources, next-generation technology, and forest health and fuel reduction. Now is not the time for hopelessness. It is the time for action. We at Pano AI remain committed to supporting our first responders with the innovation they need to protect our communities.

Forico Pty Limited, Tasmania’s largest private forest manager, announced a partnership with Pano AI to deploy four new bushfire detection stations to help safeguard 173,000 hectares of forests, conservation areas, and rural communities in North West Tasmania. This initiative aims to strengthen collaboration with the Tasmania Fire Service and Forico’s firefighting teams to respond faster and more effectively to fire threats. By adopting advanced technology, Forico is not only protecting its assets but also supporting nearby communities and infrastructure. As Burnie Mayor Teeny Brumby noted, “Adopting advanced technology is key to safeguarding natural resources and ensuring the long-term success of critical infrastructure projects.” We’re proud to partner with Forico on this effort, leveraging our AI-powered detection network across more than 2 million hectares in Australia. Together, we are working to reduce fire risks and help protect landscapes, communities and livelihoods. Last week, Xcel Energy announced Texas' largest wildfire detection tech deployment, partnering with Pano AI to install 50+ camera stations across 11 counties, with plans to expand to 125 stations in five years. Wildfires in the Texas Panhandle pose significant challenges due to flat grasslands, high winds, and fast-moving fire behavior, making this initiative a critical step in protecting communities and first responders. This initiative will enhance wildfire prevention and response by: - Detecting new ignitions quickly and accurately - Providing real-time situational awareness to first responders - Supporting safer prescribed fire practices - Protecting critical infrastructure and communities A key part of this effort is collaboration with the Amarillo Fire Department, Texas Division of Emergency Management and other fire agencies across the Panhandle. By working directly with first responders, we aim to ensure they have the tools and intelligence needed to act swiftly and safely during critical moments. Using 360-degree cameras, AI smoke detection, triangulation, and real-time alerts, this initiative will help reduce risks, accelerate response times, and help keep small fires from escalating into catastrophic events. This partnership is a meaningful step toward reducing wildfire risks and supporting the safety and resilience of communities across the Texas Panhandle. ?? https://ow.ly/5hmk50UnAQ6 Adrian J.
