Members of our Large Loss Response Team are hard at work. They are currently onsite in Eastern Ohio at this former medical building which spans 50,000 square foot, nearly 40,000 square feet of the facility was impacted after a burst pipe went unnoticed for an extended period of time. Currently sitting with no utilities our teams had to supply all power and HVAC in addition to drying equipment and lighting to work in. On Friday we set the following equipment: 6,500 cfm electric desiccant, 280kw worth of generator power, 1,000,000 Btu indirect fired heater, nearly 1,000 feet of temporary power distribution cables with a dozen power distribution boxes, As well as over 1,000 feet of temporary ducting throughout.

🎄✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer at WVU Medicine Children’s Hospital! Last night, we were proud to take part in the “Holiday Lights & Good Nights” event! We decked out one of our vans with festive holiday lights to add some extra sparkle to the celebration. The evening was filled with magical moments, including a heartwarming performance by the hospital choir, a dazzling tree lighting ceremony, a first responder parade, and a memorable light wand wave to all of the patients and their families! We’re honored to support WVU Medicine Children's and help make the season bright for the community. Thank you to everyone who came out to share in the holiday joy!

We always love an opportunity to support WVU Medicine Children's Hospital! Bob Sr.’s grandchildren had an idea to support the children and they sure did succeed. In October, they spent their day selling lemonade right outside of the hospital at their Mountaineer football tailgate. With signs and gallons of lemonade, these kids worked hard to make a difference, one cup at a time. There was an extra incentive for Bob Sr.'s grandchildren - Panhandle Cleaning & Restoration was going to match every cent they brought in, which doubled the impact of their efforts. It was a heartwarming day for our crew! They collected $705, with every cent matched by Panhandle, and we rounded it up to $2,000.

This morning, we had the privilege of attending and participating in the groundbreaking ceremony for the Wheeling YMCA’s multi-million-dollar expansion project. Our Vice President, Bob Contraguerro, Jr., shared heartfelt remarks about the vital role the YMCA plays in our community and how this project will positively impact the area and its children for generations. We are honored to contribute not only through our physical work on the project but also as a major financial supporter.

We are proud to announce that we received the Distinguished Corporate Citizen Award at this year’s Ohio River Valley Council Distinguished Citizen’s Dinner! It’s an incredible honor to be recognized alongside E. Gordon Gee, President of West Virginia University, and other leaders making a positive impact in our communities. Yesterday evening, we celebrated the 25th anniversary of Mylan Park and its significant impact not only on the Morgantown area but across all of West Virginia. The event honored award recipients Phil Weser and U.S. Senator Joe Manchin III. Special guest Coach Nick Saban delivered an incredible speech, and the event helped raise funds to support the continued success and growth of Mylan Park.

Hurricane Recovery Project Spotlight: Our team has been instrumental in assisting with the drying of crawlspaces throughout the region after recent storm surges left many properties with saturated sand floors, soaked foundation blocks, and, in numerous cases, waterlogged floor joists. Utilizing our fleet of specialized restoration equipment, including trailer-mounted desiccant dehumidifiers, we have been able to efficiently remove moisture from these spaces. This advanced equipment enables us to target and eliminate deep-seated dampness, preventing further structural damage and mold growth. Our swift response and specialized tools ensure that we restore crawlspaces to a dry, stable condition, protecting the integrity of the buildings.

Hurricane Recovery Project Spotlight: The restoration response at Portobello Condos following back-to-back hurricanes focused on addressing the extensive damage caused by storm surge and wind-driven rain. Ground-level units, which were most severely impacted by the surge, required immediate water extraction, removal of damaged drywall, flooring, and insulation, followed by thorough drying to prevent mold growth. Simultaneously, upper units that sustained wind-driven rain damage needed repairs to address water intrusions. Restoration teams coordinated efforts to ensure the building’s structural integrity was assessed, power was safely restored, and affected residents were assisted with temporary housing solutions during the remediation process.
