Caregivers participated in reading sessions at both our office reading space and the Piri Kata reading space. This training is designed to equip parents with the skills to support their children's reading journey. These dedicated caregivers will now help young learners in their communities continue reading after school! ???? ? An Inspiring Journey to Sodogo, Ukusijoni - Adjumani ? We had the privilege of traveling to Sodogo, Ukusijoni, where we were welcomed by a truly remarkable group of educators, led by the incredible Fr. Kizito. What an honor it was to spend five days immersed in a space where passion for teaching and a commitment to community thrive. During our time there, we facilitated a training focused on literacy instruction (I highly recommend ?? you experience it). It was a powerful experience, not just for the skills and Knowledge shared but for the profound connection we made with these dedicated teachers. The school itself, Maria Middleton Sodogo Primary School radiates a sense of belonging and care, and it’s clear that the teachers are not only committed to imparting knowledge but also to nurturing and shaping young minds with love and dedication. As we look ahead to meeting them again in May, team Pangea leave with a renewed sense of purpose and a deep appreciation for the impact that thoughtful, compassionate educators can have on their students—and on all of us.
