The Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) is the third Continental Federation formed under World Lacrosse. PALA covers North, Central & South America and the Caribbean. Currently, PALA includes 23 member nations from across the region and hosts PALA men’s and women’s field qualifiers for World Lacrosse World Championships and the PALA Sixes Cup. PALA is headquartered at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park in Auburndale, FL. USA.

Lima, Peru, will host the 2027 Pan Am Games after winning a vote against Asuncion, Paraguay, on Tuesday. A host for the 2027 Pan Am Games was needed to be found after Panam Sports’ announcement that Barranquilla, Colombia, had been withdrawn by the executive committee “following several breaches of the Host City Contract.”

The Pan-American Lacrosse Association (PALA) Election Committee confirmed the results of the 2024 PALA Board elections and announced Ann Kitt-Carpenetti has been elected as Board President and Oscar Daniel Castillo Morales and Marisa Di Bari have been elected to the Board. “We are thrilled to welcome Ann, Marisa and Oscar to the PALA Board of Directors, said Election Committee Chair”, Miguel Lozada, Esq., MBA. “As a young Continental Federation, PALA was pleased to see the quality and quantity of candidates who applied with interest in serving on the PALA Board for our first ever Board election."
