Do Palisade Right: Promoting Respectful Visitation Palisade Chamber of Commerce is proud to hold a seat on the Palisade Tourism Advisory Board, offering a voice for the greater collective of Tourism Based Businesses in Palisade, CO and the greater area. Together the Tourism Advisory Board and the Colorado Tourism Office (CTO) worked to create a Do Palisade Right campaign. The campaign aims to inform visitors about what it means to explore the community's fruit and wine country and surrounding public lands responsibly. The campaign focuses on six different topics with an emphasis on respecting farm and wine operations. This is part of a larger effort to encourage residents, business owners, and tourism stakeholders to review the Do Palisade Right themes on the Visit Palisade website and to echo the respectful use messaging in their interactions with visitors. Always paired with a warm welcome, the Do Palisade Right communications invite visitors to slow down, slip into our small town way of living, and to be especially respectful of our agricultural producers. Do Palisade Right postcards and posters can be found at the Palisade Chamber of Commerce and, soon, all around town. Additionally, Visit Palisade will soon begin?pushing responsible visitation messaging and tips through its social media channels (Instagram and Facebook) and we encourage you to share these posts with your followers.

This forum will serve as an opportunity for candidates to connect with constituents, share their vision for Palisade’s future, and address key issues facing our community. The format of the forum will include a 30-minute equal time, moderated, Q&A session with the two candidates for mayor, followed by an equal time, moderated, Q&A session with the six candidates for trustee. Doors open at 6:00 P.M.
