L&I Secretary Nancy A. Walker spent the day in Philly with Rose’s Girls, a pre-apprentice program empowering and creating real opportunities for young women to succeed in the construction and trades industry. Thanks to funding from the Shapiro Administration, Rosie’s Girls has expanded its reach and celebrated the graduation of its latest cohort of 20 young women, including five program ambassadors who finished the pre-apprenticeship program. These young women aren’t just learning a trade – they’re paving the way for future generations. ??????
