Did you know the average American sends 64 tons of waste to landfills over their lifetime? That’s 246 million tons of waste each year. (According to National Geographic.) At PakTech, we’re tackling the plastic problem head-on. By using recycled HDPE as our material, we give plastic containers like milk jugs a second life—transforming them into durable and functional PakTech handles. Here’s how we’re making an impact: 100% Recycled Materials: Every handle is crafted from recycled HDPE. Fully Recyclable: HDPE (#2 plastic) is one of the most recyclable plastics, widely accepted by most programs, supporting a sustainable, closed-loop system. Certified Sustainability: This year, our can carriers and TwinPak handles received Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) recyclability certification, and we transitioned to NIR-detectable black for improved recycling. Today, we celebrate the incredible recycling journey and recommit to making a difference—not just on National Recycling Day, but every day. ??
