Bringing extraordinary arts programming that empowers youth and strengthens communities.
关于我们
Paint Love believes art empowers young people and strengthens communities. Our programs help schools and organizations bring more art to more kids. Art is our vehicle, but the soul of our work is showing children that their voice matters, their ideas are important, and their actions can make a difference in shaping the future. We choose art because creativity is about humanity and expression, imagination and voice- and these things are essential for both dreaming up big ideas and bringing them to life. Paint Love is a nonprofit organization bringing extraordinary arts programming to youth facing poverty and trauma. We partner with schools and nonprofit organizations to empower youth through creative projects that are artist-led and shaped by trauma-informed standards. We envision a world where all young people have access to creative experiences that empower them to imagine a future not limited by adverse experience. Since 2014, we have served over 30,000 young people across over 150 community partners.

Paint Love is so thrilled to introduce our new Director of Philanthropy and Communication, Robin Deutsch Edwards! After her childhood dream of becoming a mural artist traveling the world didn't pan out (discovering her fear of heights made that path challenging), she instead parlayed that passion into various arts-connected roles including: serving on the Board of New York City mural arts organization Groundswell which has completed more than 500 murals, teaching art to 1st and 2nd graders in Israel (where she became fluent in essential words like 'tape' 'glue' and all the colors in Amharic and Hebrew!), and bringing murals to her son’s school (they are currently working on their fifth and sixth murals!) including leading a collaborative mural in 2022 involving all of the 3K+ students at five APS elementary schools with the local artist Yehimi Cambron! Robin also brings 20+ years and a depth of professional experience including leading marketing/communication and partnerships for large multinational companies, global NGOs, start up social ventures and campaigns, and professional roles in every sector (nonprofit, corporate, agency, and more than a decade as a consultant with her own shop). Most recently, since 2020, she has served as Director of Philanthropic Engagement for the national nonprofit EmbraceRace, where she helped the organization grow and launch new programs for educators and caregivers. Since moving back to Atlanta from New York in 2017, Robin has been very involved in the Atlanta community, including projects and board service with local and regional orgs including New American Pathways, Repair the World, Women on the Rise, and congregation Shearith Israel. She lives in Atlanta with her two kids (10 and 11 years old) and her husband. We are thrilled to welcome her to our team and so excited to see the ways she will help Paint Love continue to grow and bring more art to more kids in our community!?

The 2024-2025 Paint Love Artist Cohort is here! We'll be posting their bios in the next few days, but go ahead and send these artists some love. Since our inception in 2014, Paint Love’s mission has been to partner with local artists to share their medium and expertise to bring extraordinary creative experiences to young people. The Cohort program builds on our years of experience training artists in our trauma-informed model to more fully empower artists in their journey as creatives, teachers, and leaders in our community. Our seven cohort members will also focus on elevating the “extraordinary” elements of arts education - bringing the magic and wonder of a memorable and meaningful experience that will resonate with students beyond their time in the classroom.

Financial Operations & Strategy Leader | Operational Excellence | Process Improvement | Team Development
Today I had the honor of presenting "How to Read Financial Statements" at the Paint Love, Inc. Board Retreat. The feedback from the group was overwhelming. Some of the feedback I received was "that's your super power you made it so easy to understand" and "I'm ready to start investing now that I can read financials". Thanks Cara Hergenroether for considering for this opportunity. #boardtraining #paintlove
