关于我们
Located in central California's San Benito County, Paicines Ranch is a historic 7,600-acre ranch that works to regenerate ecosystems by growing healthy soil, nutrient-dense food and vibrant, diverse communities. Using the practices of regenerative agriculture, the ranch team manages this diverse landscape in partnership with nature and livestock to produce 100% grass-fed-and-finished lamb and beef, and pastured pork and turkey. They also grow organic forage crops, as well as organic winegrapes in their polyculture vineyard that is designed to be managed by sheep. Over the years, the ranch has become a renowned destination for learning about regenerative agriculture through their practices, programs and educational workshops while also serving as a treasured location for weddings, retreats, and events.

Paicines Ranch and Women In Ranching have a long history of mutual support: WIR began their journey at Paicines Ranch over a decade ago.?We are humbled and thrilled to announce that the Paicines Ranch Learning Center will be co-hosting the Women in Ranching annual Confluence here at our Ranch this spring: ??Rooted in Resilience: Nurturing Land and Leadership, March 7th-9th, 2025 This theme emerged from our collective understanding that resilience does not need to be a solitary journey. Each of us carries a unique thread of wisdom, strength, and insight. When we come together, sharing our stories and knowledge, these threads intertwine to create a powerful, transformative fabric of collective strength. Our resilience grows exponentially when we listen, connect, and amplify one another’s voices – turning personal moments of courage into a movement of unstoppable potential. What’s in store: ??Educational sessions beneath ancient oaks ??Land-based wisdom sharing on historic grazing lands ??Deep connections with fellow ranching women and time with guest speakers? ??Hands-on experience in regenerative practices ??Stories that will motivate, inspire, and ignite action Will you join us? ?? Earlier this year, we welcomed the Fresh Local Organic Culinary Workshop, hosted by Conscious Kitchen / Turning Green in collaboration with the Alice Waters Institute for Edible Education and Regenerative Agriculture, which brought together multiple food service leaders from school districts across California, organic farmers from neighboring counties, and other organizations working in this space. This workshop is part of Conscious Kitchen's larger program to support school food service to transition their school food systems to scratch cooked meals made from fresh local organic seasonal and nutritious ingredients. Conscious Kitchen also supports small organic farmers to access new institutional marketplaces (such as schools) to support them economically and include them in the farm-to-school programming of school districts through farmer visits and educational pieces. We are honored to be a host location for values-aligned groups like these to further their work in growing a better food system for us all. WATCH: https://lnkd.in/gWkvuH54
