    What are you doing to fuel your passions outside of business?

    Passions outside of Business? It’s important to have passions and hobbies outside of business. For me, I love pickleball and cooking. A perfect day for me is when I get to do both! I started competing in pickleball about 2 yrs ago. I never thought I would, but I found it fun and exhilarating. I got such bad tournament jitters when I first started…and I played awfully. Fast forward 2 years and we qualified for Nationals. I also picked up a Gold at the US Open in April this year. I share this here for a bunch of reasons… 1. It’s easy to learn about the business persona of someone, much harder to know the person. I think most who know me would say I’m pretty much the same guy whether in a board room or on a pickleball court. 2. If you’re grinding and aren’t taking time for yourself, pls stop that. You gotta feed your joy. 3. If you are a competitor player, let’s connect at a tourney soon. What are some of your passions? #passion #hobbies #pickleball #PageOne

    Amazon Bundles Deep Dive: Advantages of Traditional And Virtual Bundles A bundle is a set of complementary items that are sold together as a single offering. It definitely helps to increase visibility, and sales and assists in clearing inventory. The psychology behind the effectiveness of bundles lies in customers seeing them as a convenient way to save both time and money. Bundling has long been an effective strategy to increase customer AOV and differentiate yourself from competitors. Amazon launched Virtual Bundles several years ago giving brands a lot of flexibility and taking some of the pain out of traditional bundling. We dove into the details in my previous post here:https://shorturl.at/kxM29 about all of the recent updates on virtual bundles…but where should you use either option? Check out the table below for the differences. The recent updates are fantastic and give a lot more value to the virtual bundle feature. In general, if you have the resources to do it, a traditional bundle provides for a much better ROI and you have far more control over the traffic you can drive to it.     The new virtual bundle update is what we’ve been waiting for since it launched in beta almost 5 years ago! So, let's dig into what this update entails and explore six reasons why we should utilize bundles. Previously, bundles showed in search results but there was no way to connect them to your main listings and they were easily missed by the customer. After the recent #amazonupdates bundles display right under the listing images above the bullet points, ensuring customers can't overlook them. If the customer rolls their mouse over it, the bundle actually shows what products this bundle has. It is kind of cool when shopping on a cellphone since the bundles are increasingly visible on mobile devices. Here are 6 reasons why they're worth incorporating into your strategy: 1. Increasing Average Order Value: If you want customers to buy more in one go, give discounts or special deals for bundled purchases, encouraging customers to add extra items to their carts. 2. Stretch ad dollars: While your advertising will continue to focus on the main product being sold on your PDP’s, some customers coming from your ads will end up buying one of your bundles, creating better ad metrics. 3. Competitive Advantage: Offering bundles sets you apart from competitors, giving you a unique selling point and attracting more customers. 4. Inventory Clearance : If you have too many unsold? or slow-moving inventory, bundling them with other products can be a great solution. Creating bundles with complementary items can make your offers more tempting, leading to faster sales. 5. Cross-Promotion of Related Items: If you have related products that aren't top sellers on their own, make bundles highlighting how these items work together, enticing customers to buy them as a package deal. 6. Promotion of Complementary Products: If you have products that are often bought together, offer these complementary items as a bundle with a small discount, motivating customers to purchase the complete set. There is no doubt that these new updates will finally get bundles the visibility we’ve always wanted and generate an uptick in virtual bundle sales. This feature isn't yet universal across Amazon.
