The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) announced today the boat ramp at the Monongahela Access, Washington County, will be closed indefinitely pending repairs. #TBT to when the "Susquehanna", built in 1892, moved fish across the Commonwealth. In 1999, when Pennsylvania Angler & Boater magazine offered a replica of this historic car, Dan Orange, Westmoreland County, set out to recreate the nostalgic depiction of this efficient way to move and stock fish. "I immediately purchased the HO railcar with the intent to one day replicate the scene in a diorama. Well it didn't happen in a timely manner. Nearly 45 years later, I have completed the diorama..."
