???? The Lehigh Valley Health Network honored the brave men and women who have served in the Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Space Force. Their military recognition ceremony, held in collaboration with Valley Health Partners and the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, celebrated our veterans with heartfelt tributes. ? A standout moment was the formal recognition of attending veterans, each of whom received a beautifully crafted wooden shadow box containing a piece of a flag that had flown at a military cemetery. ? ?? Two Pittsburgh VA employees received a national 2024 VA Secretary Honor Award in I CARE for quickly aiding a co-worker in crisis. ?? Joshua Anderson and Daryl Ferguson, reacted quickly to a call from an individual in extreme distress. They worked with upper management and police to quickly get help. When police arrived at the employee’s apartment, the distressed employee agreed to go to the VA for care. ?? Read more: https://lnkd.in/ewjZjWp8

?? Recently a rededication ceremony of a newly upgraded Veterans Park, honoring the nation’s service members and their sacrifices was held. The ceremony commemorated the service of soldiers in every major U.S. conflict since the American Revolution. Hundreds gathered outside the Clinton County Courthouse in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.
