Emalee couldn’t find support for her learning disabilities at her previous school, and she didn’t have much hope for her future. It all turned around when she enrolled at PA Cyber for her junior year of high school. With support from the Special Education Department and lots of hard work, Emalee was able to achieve academic success that she didn’t know she was capable of. PA Cyber’s Special Education Association selected Emalee as the 2024 recipient of the Lori Conkle Memorial Scholarship. Today, she is attending Westmoreland County Community College for healthcare management. Read more at https://lnkd.in/eBJtm-u8. #PACyberProud

From school project to thriving business! Meet Gabby, an entrepreneur, and PA Cyber middle schooler! Gabby had a project in Ms. Newell's Language Arts class this past year. Their project was to come up with a well-executed business plan. Little did Gabby know her business plan would become a reality! After her project was over, Gabby and her mom, Cheryl, decided to pursue the business plan, and here, "Nature's Cosmetic Delights" was born. ?? ?? A little about the brand: With about 20 products (and growing), they offer everything from soaps and room sprays to lotions, cleansers, oils, balms, and more! The best part is that they wanted to use natural, safe, and beneficial ingredients for the skin! Since opening, they've been showcasing their products at markets, malls, and various local events! Cheryl says, "There are no limits for Gabby. Gabby is very creative, motivated, and always looking forward to the next thing—and she's an all-or-nothing kind of gal!" Together, they bring knowledge, confidence, creativity, and joy to their brand and community. We are #PACyberProud of Gabby and her entrepreneurial spirit!??

Congratulations to PA Cyber graphic designer Ed Miles for his incredible work on his local mural "Love Always Wins"! ???? Ed's hip-hop, 80s-inspired design stood out and was selected by a panel of judges. He then brought his vision to life with his own hands, collaborating with The Genesis Collection nonprofit. Inside or outside of PA Cyber, Ed always brings infectious positive energy to his community.
